Vinca was the only girl in our first litter. She's about 16 lbs and somewhat stockier than Bossa and Vasa. Vinca is intense, competitive, a quick learner and loves to train.
Vinca was Reserve Winner at the Seattle Kennel Club from the 6-9 month class.
On March 23, 2019, Vinca had her first experience with Barn Hunt, and passed her instinct test.
On September 14, 2019, Vinca qualified in her first Novice Rally run, winning first place over two other dachshunds. She qualified for her second leg at her second trial on 1 December, 2019. She earned her Rally Novice title at the Cascade Dachshund Club show on 15 February 2020.
Vinca earned her first two Rally Intermediate legs as virtual submissions (taped at Family Dog Training Center) in December 2020, and her Rally Intermediate title at the Cascade trial on 18 September 2021 under judge Sue Cox. She earned her first 2 Rally Advanced legs as virtual submissions, and earned her RA title at the Overlake Collie Club trial at Argus Ranch on 26 February 2022, with a first place. Vinca earned her first Excellent Rally leg at the Cascade Dachshund Club trial on 17 September 2022, and finished her Excellent Rally (RE) title in February 2023 with a great 99 score in a virtual rally performance.
Vinca qualified for her first leg in Beginner Novice at the Cascade Dachshund Club trial on 18 September 2021 under judge Sue Cox, and earned her BN title with 2 qualifying runs under judge Betty Winthers at the Cascade Dachshund Club trial on 17 September 2022.
Vinca started her agility career on March 27, 2021, with a run in Novice Jumpers. She qualified with a 95, did her weaves the first time, and was high in trial for the hound group. She has a lot of agility ahead of her. She earned a 100 on her second run, again with clean weaves the first time, on April 17, 2021. After a couple of runs with faults, she earned her Novice Agility Jumpers (NAJ) title on May 9, 2021.
